Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
Borders around the world have been closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our greatest outreach has been to supply food to a hungry, sick and hurting world during 2020-2021. Many have lost jobs and crime has escalated because of the desperate state of the world. We regularly support food drops in South Africa for the main church, Victory In Fellowship Church (VIFC) and it's 12 satellite churches where we have deployed EWAN trained pastors.
The ministry in South Africa began in 2017 when I started training classes for ordaining ministers to pastor in the satellite churches. Pastor Thomas Nxumalo, Senior Pastor at Victory In Fellowship Church, asked EWAN to prepare students for the ministry and to come over and ordain them. I took teams in June 2017 and 2018 and what a wonderful time we had. A total of 27 ministers have been ordained. Graduation services, baby dedications, women's conference, baptisms, workshops and counseling sessions and pulpit preaching filled our days and nights. 2020 and 2021 trips were canceled because of COVID-19 restrictions. Hopefully we will return in summer of 2022.
We had begun to develop a relationship with a pastor and church in Uganda, planning an EWAN ministry training and ordination when Covid-19 hit. Money that had been raise was used to help with food and life-giving supplies. The future in Uganda is uncertain at this time. Our hearts and hopes continue looking for an opening and safe passage to this area of the world.
This year and last year's trips to Honduras were also canceled. We have hope to return in 2022.
I have 500 dresses waiting deliver to little girls around the world. God's timing will be perfect.
In August of 2018, I led a team to Mexico for the 2nd time to minister and to share at an English/Hispanic speaking Women's Conference. It was an amazing time of ministry. My desire is to make a 3rd trip next year to share the gospel and bring hope and healing to this suffering region of the world.
Ministry in Mexico includes churches, home groups and counseling sessions for ministers and leaders.
We have launched book studies and provided Celebrate Recovery materials.
Women's Conferences and Church Services have been a part of the ministry in central Mexico. Also EWAN Women's Conference cruises have evangelized by sharing their testimonies and giving away Christian books. Cruises to Cozumel, Cancun and the Bahamas have been a great source of discipleship and evangelism for all.
